Melinda Ferreira

Melinda is a pediatric speech-language pathologist, self-published author, and private practice owner. She works primarily with children ages 1-5 with developmental delays, speech sound disorders, and autism. 

Melinda received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Mercy University. She holds a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in New York and New Jersey. 

She is passionate about sharing her knowledge with families and providing them with practical, functional, and simple ways to encourage communication development. Hence, creating the perfect book to target early speech and language goals at home.
